Nominator's project description
| Professor Shafi contributed significantly to the development of particle physics and cosmology. His work clarified the connection between cosmological inflation and grand unified theories as well as the theory of gravity in more thanfour space-time dimensions. As a consequence one gains new insight between the properties of neutrionos and the matter-antimatter asymmetry of the universe. |
